Jesus' first Miracle
One bright and sunny day, Jesus, His mother and His disciples went to a big, happy wedding party.
Everyone was dancing and eating, but suddenly, the host ran out of wine!
This was a big problem, and the family felt very embarrassed.
Some people at the party started to whisper.
"How could they run out of wine?"
"This party is ruined!"
One of Jesus’ disciples, Peter, looked at the empty jars and thought, "I wonder if there is anything Jesus can do about this? "
But Jesus’ mother, Mary, knew that Jesus was no ordinary man.
She knew He had power from God, so she told the servants,
"Do whatever my son tells you to do."
Jesus saw six giant stone jars. He didn't use magic or tricks; He simply gave a command:
"Fill the jars with water," He said.
So they did.
"Now take a cup full to the leader of the party."
Some people laughed and watched, thinking it was silly to serve plain water.
But when the leader took a sip, his eyes went wide.
Wow! The water hadn't just changed color—it had turned into the most delicious wine he had ever tasted!
Peter and the other disciples were amazed.
They realized that Jesus really really got power from God his father!
By turning simple water into something wonderful, Jesus showed that He isn't just a teacher; He is the powerful Son of God who cares about us, even when others doubt Him.
