He prayed a lot and God loved to speak to him and give him special messages to share with his family members.

On one sunny afternoon, while Isaiah was coming home from school, a gentle breeze whispered a secret in his ear.

It was a message from God, telling him about a special baby who would be born in the future.

9

He did not know the baby’s name, but he knew this baby would grow up and bring joy and peace to the world.

10

Isaiah’s eyes widened with wonder. He had heard stories of God's promises, but this felt different. He knew he had to share this wonderful news with his people, but fear stirred in his tummy.

What if they didn't believe him?

13

What if they laughed?

He took a deep breath and remembered how much he loved God. He wanted to make God happy, and sharing this news was a way to do just that.

16

So, Isaiah prayed, then gathered his courage, then went to the town square. He stood on a small crate, his voice trembling at first, but he grew bolder with each word.

He called out to the people, "Listen everyone, I have a message, a promise from God! A special child is coming! He will be a prophet like me but even greater, because He will be God’s very own son. It might sound strange to you, but God keeps his promises!"

19

Some people listened.

20

Some people didn’t.

But Isaiah trusted God and kept telling the truth.

23

Many, many years passed—so many that Isaiah was no longer alive. But guess what?

24

✨ God kept His promise! ✨

25

One day, an angel appeared to a Jewish man called Joseph and gave him a message about the woman he was about to marry named Mary. The angel said:

27

“She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus,[a] because he will save his people from their sins.””

28

(Matthew 1:21, NIV)

29

Just like Isaiah said, Jesus was born, and God’s promise came true—right on time!

30

Isaiah learned something very important:

31

➡️ God always keeps His promises.

32

➡️ And God wants us to keep our promises too.

33

So remember, just like God and Isaiah:

34

When you make a promise, try your best to keep it.
